It's great to be back, the mood is positive and the energy is uplifting.

Crystal Cruises have been bestowed one of the highest honours in port environmental stewardship and we are so proud to have been a small part of their achievements over the years in helping to preserve our oceans and make a brighter future for our children.

The world health crisis shut down much of the normal traffic flow of the Med giving the Sphyrna Odyssey, a research vessel sponsored by several organisations including the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, a chance to study the sea in a low-noise pollution environment.

Earlier this week a sperm whale had died after stranding itself on the Isle of Harris in Scotland, discovered with a 100kg "litter ball" in it's stomach.

We have a stand at the METSTRADE show in Amsterdam, where the global leisure marine industry comes together. The METSTRADE Show is the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment, materials and systems. 

There has been a lot of exciting things going on with the Child Care Monaco's School in Trestha.  They have 16 girls going to college which is really great news and they have 1 more class which means there are 8 now! All of the girls are doing really well and are very motivated. Books were brought to school as well as arts & crafts which they really loved.  There is a library bus in Jaipur now to help the disadvantaged children in the slums of Jaipur.

Last week, Hepburn Bio Care attended the Presentation and Networking Event of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation organised by Stars n’ Bars in Café Milano at the port of Monaco. As a primary objective, the foundation aims to save lives by putting an end to drowning. Their programs and projects are underlining the importance and reinforcing the awareness of water safety. Hepburn Bio Care met with the Princess’ brother, Gareth, to discuss future projects and engagements with the foundation and how Hepburn can support these.

On the 14th of May, we attended and presented at the 2019 Spring Pop up by the Cluster Yachting Monaco. 

Hepburn had a great weekend with Disney and others raising $80.000 net after costs for Maddy's Mission To Help Foundation. 

Margaret Hepburn was delighted to be invited by Bernard d'Alessandri, General Secretary of the Yacht Club de Monaco and Cristina Ruiz Martinez, Owners & Captains Relations in charge of La Belle Classe Superyachts to speak at the 9th Environmental Symposium held 28th March at the Yacht Club of Monaco as part of the 3rd Monaco Ocean Week. The Symposium was designed to bring together a group of world leaders concerned about the health of the oceans who could provide solutions that work and stimulate thought on how to motivate and educate the yachting industry into better practices.

Over the past 40 even 100 years, the world has made great strides when it comes to empowering women. However, across the main environmental fora, less than 1/3 of decision makers are women.

The girls from Tresta and their letters bring a big smile to our faces. Child Care Monaco and Martine Ackermann with the help of donations are making lives better. These girls live in a Northen Indian village

Hepburn Bio Care is proud to support the Boys and Girls Club. We have to thank NCL inviting for us to the charity 12th annual "Wild about Kids" Gala. We contributed by auctioning our products to the highest bidder. The event in total managed to gather $700,000 that will directly help empower young people by offering a variety of after-school programs.

Hepburn has signed supply contracts with 60 new vessels from Royal Caribbean International, Carnival Cruise Lines, and 26 Norwegian Cruise Line vessels.

Global wildlife populations have fallen by 60% in just over four decades, as accelerating pollution, deforestation, climate change and other man-made factors have created a mindblowing crisis, the World Wildlife Fund has warned in a damning new report. The total numbers of more than 4,000 mammals, bird, fish, reptile and amphibian species declined rapidly between 1970 and 2014, the Living Planet Report 2018.

Mercy Ships are floating hospitals almost entirely staffed by volunteers. They have visited more than 451 different ports in developing nations providing surgeries and medical care to millions of people. Nearly 40 years now, Mercy Ships are providing hope to regions where clean water, electricity, medical facilities and personnel is limited or nonexistent.

We are delighted to have been selected as a supplier of sustainable pipe descaling and maintaining chemicals by Carnival Cruise Lines. Carnival Cruise Line is another company that believes in our products and our commitment to build a more sustainable future. Sustainability is not a cost of doing business; it is a way of doing business!

Teena Prajapat and Payal Prajapat are two of the girls from the Sneh Girls School in Trestha founded by our favourite charity, Child Care Monaco. We love receiving photos of the girls improving their skills and being a step closer to their dreams with your support.

Hepburn is proud to team up with Norwegian Cruise Lines, to support their commitment to "Green Cruising". Our Bio ETSC will biodegrade their galley water and our Bio toilet cleaner, will keep their lines clean and help to preserve the oceans as on the beautiful Bliss.

Researchers from the University of Exeter presented strong evidence that microplastic transfers across the marine trophic chain from fish to mammals.
