Earlier this week a sperm whale had died after stranding itself on the Isle of Harris in Scotland, discovered with a 100kg "litter ball" in it's stomach. Found inside were fishing nets, rope, packing straps, bags and plastic cups in an almost compacted mass.
This horrific event just further clarifies that plastic pollution in our oceans is getting out of control, if we continue on our current path of selfish and ignorant disposal, plastic waste will outweigh the fish in our oceans by 2050, things need to change. Us at Hepburn Bio Care are currently reducing single use plastics up to 95%, by producing concentrated eco-products and supplying reusable aluminium bottles to all our clients.
