As Bio Softener is cationic, it is absorbed by negatively charged fibres, providing smoothness and softness. This smoothness reduces the static electricity of the fibre and softens the clothes, making drying and ironing easier.

Bio Softener also reduces fibre breakage and increases the sponginess of the clothes. It is important to know the hardness of the wash water so that it may be counteracted by previous treatment or the addition of a greater quantity of product.
